"Fifteen years ago, Heather Johnston had the vision to build a National Leadership Center here in the hills of Ephriam. [She] built the ark before the flood…and this was the year of the flood— Israel is in trauma. On October 8, we made a decision: to open the gates for all the people of Israel to come here, to the hills of Ephraim, and start healing."

Eran Glazer

Executive Director of the National Leadership Center

Strategically located in the rolling hills of Ariel (the capital city of Samaria), the National Leadership Center welcomes participants from all over the country to its 142-acre site.

Key Relationships & Participants

Through partnerships with the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Defense, the NLC has welcomed teens from public schools, soldiers from the Israeli Defense Forces (both on active and reserve duty), teachers, Police, Fire, and Prison System Personnel, Municipalities, Regional Councils and Businesses, and various Israel Youth Movements.

Since the horrific events of October 7, 2023, the NLC has also welcomed widows and orphans directly affected by the war to take part in our Parent-Teen program, and it serves as a beacon of hope and healing to the entire nation of Israel.

Our Programming

Our carefully curated curriculum combines experiential learning with biblical narratives, grounding participants in history while encouraging them on their own leadership journeys. As groups take on our state-of-the-art high adventure ropes courses, our skilled leaders guide them through heart-pounding activities based on the lives of Moses, Joshua, David, Joseph, and Abraham. After each challenge is completed, participants are led in a time of reflection and application. Through every challenge, reflection opportunity, and moment of growth, participants will gain a deeper understanding of God’s purposes for their lives and the strength to walk boldly into them!
