In the midst of a “roller coaster” two years in the nation of Israel, it is evident that there have been losses, trauma, pain, and trials. However, there have also been miracles. A Scripture I’ve read many times suddenly stood out to me recently in Psalm 99: “They called upon the Lord, and He answered them” (Psalm 99:6b). Indeed, many within Israel and the nations of the earth have arisen in prayer, crying out to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob for a miracle of deliverance. He has heard those prayers.

Israel faced a seven-front war against Iranian-backed proxies known as the Ring of Fire. Hezbollah had an arsenal of up to 200,000 missiles and rockets. Hamas lay in wait in a tunnel labyrinth of 350 - 450 miles long in Gaza and had terror cells in Judea and Samaria. The Houthis were armed with ballistic missiles capable of reaching targets over 1200 miles away. Iranian-backed militias were present in Syria and Iraq. Iran’s existential threat of a nuclear war was a real possibility.

Yet, after two years, the military accomplishments of Israel can only be described as miraculous. Hezbollah is a shadow of its once formidable threat (in the words of Israeli rocket scientist Ari Sacher, the “grim beeper” played a key role in the humbling of Hezbollah). While Hamas has survived the war, it has lost its rockets, thousands of its fighters and leaders, and most of its territory. Iran’s nuclear program was set back years during the twelve-day war in early Summer of 2025, and not a single Israeli or U.S. plane or pilot was lost. Additionally, the hundreds of missiles that were fired at Israel caused relatively minor damage.

October 13, 2025, will forever be remembered as a miraculous day in history as the remaining living twenty hostages were returned to Israel and welcomed into the embrace of their families and the entire nation.

There’s an eighth front to this war, which is the battlefield of misinformation, and we continue to pray for miraculous intervention toward this front. In the media and digital world, lies regarding Israel, the war effort, and the Jewish people emerged hours after October 7th, growing into a sophisticated, organized, global campaign that even Prime Minister Netanyahu admits Israel is losing. The spread of lies has fueled a resurgence of antisemitism around the world to levels not seen since the Holocaust. For that reason, we continue to pray and uphold biblical values within our spheres of influence, confident that truth will triumph over lies and that the Lord will bring healing to His people and nation.

As we head into November, the month when Thanksgiving is celebrated in the United States, let us pause to give thanks to God. We give thanks for the miracles we have witnessed, knowing that the one true God—the Creator of the world and defender of Israel and the Jewish people—has been responding to the prayers of His people.
